The Central Library of the UNAM is celebrating

Mexico, Abr (Notimex) .- The Central Library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), positioned as a reference for students in the country, will be recognized with three sculptures "Jaguar International of the Arts".

These awards coincide with the 63rd anniversary of the library, which has become one of the most iconic buildings in the UNAM and the country.

The mural "Historical Representation of Culture", by Juan O'Gorman, is considered the largest in the world in its technique, and symbolizes the social evolution of Mexico, from pre-Hispanic times to the decade of the 50s of the 20th century.

The library has more than 619 thousand texts and 3 750 journal titles, in addition to offering one million 212 thousand 297 electronic resources.
