Mexico is heading towards the electric car.


Guadalajara, Feb (Notimex).- In 2030 at the latest, Mexico will only produce electric cars, the general director of the Automotive Cluster in Jalisco, Alexandro Burgueño Rodríguez, said.


For this, the conglomerate dedicated to this industry is preparing for the conversion, he stated.


He noted that two Mexican companies are already producing electric cars in Puebla and in the State of Mexico, while Jalisco is preparing to position itself as an autoparts supplier.


In addition, several entrepreneurs are making electric cars prototypes.
