London, Feb (Notimex) .- The film "Roma", by Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, won the Best Film, Best Director, Photography and Best Foreign Language Film awards from the British Academy of Cinematography (Bafta).
The filmmaker said that the story of an indigenous domestic worker who has managed to reach so many people "means a lot to me" and added that "like it or not, we are all connected through space and time".
The Mexican director thanked the cast of the film, Yalitza Aparicio and Marina de Tavira, and their production team for the success of the multi-award winning film.
Mexican actress Salma Hayek presented the award for Best Director to Cuarón.
