A vehicle manufactured in Puebla leads sales in the United States
Puebla, February.- The German automaker Volkswagen reported that the Jetta model, manufactured at its plant in Puebla (Mexico), leads sales in the United States, by marketing 6 875 units in January.
The manufacturing of the renovated sedan started at the Cuautlancingo plant in December 2017.
"Jetta's sales continue to increase, and we are very excited to see the strengthening of our sedan range at the start of this year while preparing to launch new models in 2019", said Derrick Hatami, executive vice president of Sales, Marketing and Post Sale of Volkswagen in America.
Volkswagen sold 23 thousand 74 vehicles in the United States just in January, a figure that meant a decrease of 6.7 percent compared to the sales of the same period of 2018.
