Mexico City brightens up for Christmas

Mexico - The Mexico City government has installed 11,000 poinsettia flowers in the historic center for Christmas.

Poinsettias, a native Mexican species of flower, are a common Christmas decoration across the country.

The floral arrangement in Mexico City's Zocalo central square represents a "cosmic eagle," according to a government statement.
