Mexico City and Querétaro lead competitiveness index
Mexico (Notimex) - Mexico City, Querétaro and Nuevo León are the most competitive states in the country, according to the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness.
In its most recent indexes, the institute said that the top competitive cities by population are the Greater Mexico City area (in the more than 1 million inhabitants category); Cancun (500,000-1 million); Puerto Vallarta (250,000-500,000) and Piedras Negras (less than 250,000).
