Mexico continues to lead Latin America car production
Rio de Janeiro (Notimex) - Mexico has produced 750,000 more cars than Brazil as of September this year.
The figure continues to place Mexico as Latin America's top car producer since 2014.
Despite a slight recovery in Brazil, with a 14 percent growth from January to September compared with the same period last year, Brazilian assembly plants were hit by the crisis in Argentina, its biggest export market.
The Brazilian automobile industry association, Afaeva, revised its annual production outlook downwards due to the crisis in its neighboring country.
Mexico's car production as of September this year was 320,000 units, a 1.1 percent dip compared with the same period last year.
