Interjet and Japan Airlines ink cooperation deal

Mexico (Notimex) - Mexican low-cost carrier Interjet has signed a cooperation deal with Japan Airlines to boost each company's offer of routes.

Customers flying from Mexico to Japan connecting at Dallas/Ft. Worth, Los Angeles or Vancouver, will now be able to travel with a single documentation for their luggage.

For their part, passengers travelling from Japan will have access to Interjet's entire route network with only one documentation process.

Japan Airlines operates 349 routes in 54 countries.

"With Japan Airlines, we share the idea of providing our passengers with the best services and connectivity, as well as offering them privileged access to Asia," said Interjet Commercial Director, Julio Gamero.
