Mexico (Notimex) – TransCanada has begun operations in its Topolobampo gas pipeline in northern Mexico.
The pipeline has a capacity to transport 670 million cubic feet of natural gas to the states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua.
The investment for the project reached $1.2 billion, the company said.
The project included the construction of some 560 kilometers of pipeline, from Encino, near the city of Chihuahua, to Topolobampo, on the Pacific coast of the state of Sinaloa.
