London (Notimex) - A Frida Kahlo exhibition has broken attendance records at London's Victoria & Albert museum, with tickets sold out for the first three weeks.
The exhibit, called "Frida Kahlo: Making Herself Up," presents some of the artist's iconic dresses, corsets and a prosthetic leg, which are on show for the first time outside of Mexico.
"I'm so proud to showcase Mexico. We are a country with a very ancient and deep culture and we believe that gives us great potential," said Carlos Phillips Olmedo, director of the Dolores Olmedo and Anahuacalli museums in Mexico City.
Among the most iconic pieces in the exhibit is one of Frida Kahlo's traditional Tehuana dresses.
