Mexico (Notimex) - Mexico and Denmark have agreed to extend for five more years a bilateral health agreement aimed at improving the quality of medical care.
The extension was signed by Mexican Health Minister José Narro, and Denmark's ambassador to Mexico, Henrik Bramsen.
The deal includes research projects in mental health, such as suicide prevention, and a diabetes prevention program.
Over the past two years of the deal, one stand-out aspect has been a remote medical attention model through the use of a contact center.
Also highlighted are the knowledge and experience exchanges that improve the use of information and clinical practice guidelines, among others.
