Mexico (Notimex) - Mexican low-cost carrier Interjet announced it is planning to launch 30 new domestic and international routes this year.
The international routes include Guadalajara-San Francisco; Cancun-San Francisco and Guadalajara-Chicago, the airline said.
CEO José Luis Garza added that the plans also include two new routes to Colombia.
Also on the table are deals with other airlines to expand the route network, including Hainan, Lufthansa, Lan Colombia and Japan Airlines.
"These will be added to the ones we already have with Alitalia, All Nippon Airways, American Airlines, British Airways, LATAM and Iberia," Garza said.
