Southwest Airlines launches three new routes to Mexico
San Diego (Notimex) - U.S. carrier Southwest Airlines has launched three new U.S.-Mexico services.
The services, all from California, are San Diego-Puerto Vallarta; San José-Puerto Vallarta, and Sacramento-Los Cabos.
"These new non-stop flights mean less travel time and more time to explore the incredible destinations we offier," said airline spokesman Brad Hawkins.
Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos are key destinations for Southwest because they are highly sought-after destinations for U.S. tourists, he added.
Southwest already operates 10 services from Cancun to Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Milwaukee, Denver, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Nashville and St. Louis.
From Los Cabos, Southwest flies to eight major U.S. cities.
