Paris - Mexico's investment promotion agency ProMexico launched on Thursday a meeting to promote Mexican investments in African countries.
The meeting, held in Casablanca, Morocco, gathered Mexican consuls from several African countries including Angola, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Rwanda and Ivory Coast.
The group of consuls and business leaders will hold more meetings to identify business opportunities in each country.
"The idea is to convince Mexican businesses to come to Africa," said ProMexico's trade councillor for France and North Africa, Guillermo Garza García.
