Viva Aerobus to launch Mérida-Tuxtla Gutiérrez flight

Mexico (Notimex) - Mexican low-cost carrier Viva Aerobus will connect the city of Mérida, in the Yucatán Peninsula, with Tuxtla Gutiérrez in the southern state of Chiapas, from June 4 this year.

The frequency of the flight will be twice per week, on Mondays and Thursdays.

"Viva Aerobus continues to revolutionize transport and stands out for its service and combination of prices and tailored trips," said CEO Juan Carlos Zuazua.

Viva Aerobus is now the top operator of flights from Mérida's international airport.
