Brussels (Notimex) – Mexico and the European Union have ended a ninth round of talks to update a bilateral free trade deal.
The deal came into effect in the year 2000, and both sides are aiming to update the accord in areas such as rules of origin, specially for European cheeses, manufacturing, garment, investment protection and access to public bids.
The ninth round of talks however, ended with no major progress.
The following round will be held in Mexico next week.
