Washington (Notimex) - Mexico-U.S. trade grew 6.3 percent in 2017 compared with the previous year, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce.
U.S. exports to Mexico reached $242.9 billion, up 5.7 percent from 2016.
Mexico's exports to the U.S. reached $314 billion, a 6.7 percent increase from the year before.
Mexico's oil sales to the U.S. reached $9.7 billion in 2017, almost 29 percent more than in 2016.
The trade dynamism between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada show that the North American Free Traed Agreement, NAFTA, has reached its goals over the past 24 years, said Carla Hills, one of the original negotiators of NAFTA.
