Mexico (Notimex) - Mexican low-cost airline Volaris flew 16.4 million passengers in 2017, up 9.5 percent from the year before.
The carrier said it increased its total capacity in term of available seat-miles (ASMs) by almost 13 percent, compared with the previous year.
Total demand in 2017 measured in reserved passenger miles (RPMs) grew 11.1 percent compared with the year before.
In December last year, Volaris launched four international routes: Washington - San Salvador; New York-San Salvador and Los Angeles-San Salvador.
