Airbnb extends disaster program to Puebla and Morelos

Mexico (Notimex) -- Online hospitality service Airbnb has extended its emergency program to the states of Puebla and Morelos, which were among the hardest hit in the September 19 earthquake.

The program, called Open Homes, allows hosts to offer their houses and properties free of charge to those who need in an emergency.

Airbnb temporarily eliminated its commissions to help rescuers, volunteers and victims who were left homeless find a place to stay.

The program is open to anyone who wishes to list their home or property.
