No need to cancel travel plans to Mexico: Tourism Council
Mexico (Notimex) -- Mexico's Tourism Promotion Council said that there is no reason for travelers to cancel their trips to Mexico after the September 19 earthquake.
The main tourist attractions and sites in the states of Puebla, Morelos and Mexico City are operating normally, the Council said.
"The Council and the country's tourism industry are focused on guaranteeing any type of help visitors to these regions may require," the council said in a statement.
The Mexico City and Puebla airports went back to normal operations after four hours of being closed to assess damages.
