The first hospital in Puebla
The San Pedro y San Pablo hospital is the first medical treatment center in the city of Puebla. It was founded in 1544, and since then, the building was abandoned and then used for housing, shops and entertainment. In 1998, it became the Puebla Museum of Viceroyalty Art, known today as the San Pedro Art Museum. The museum shows the history of medical treatments used when the building was a hospital.
