Tulum: Paradise in the Mayan Riviera
Tulum, a town on the Mayan Riviera in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, is known for its crystal-clear beaches and Mayan ruins atop a hill overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It is one of the top destinations along the Mayan Riviera, which includes Cancun, Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. The name Tulum means ‘wall,’ and the ruins include the Temple of Wind, the Temple of the Sea and several altars and sanctuaries.
